Medicine Buddha Puja Monday, Sept. 24th, 5:30 pm

A puja is a ceremony in which meditational prayers are offered to the Buddhas, to request their blessings or help.

Visitors are welcome to join our puja, or sit in quiet contemplation.

This puja will be dedicated to all those who have recently died or been affected by illness or environmental difficulties.

Medicine Buddha w mantra

The seven Medicine Buddhas, attainers of bliss, strongly prayed for the temporal and ultimate happiness of all beings. They vowed that their prayers would be actualized during these degenerate times.
By meditating on Guru Medicine Buddha, we greatly enhance
the power of the medicine that we are taking or giving to others, especially those who are ill or in pain.  This puja is especially powerful for those who have recently died.
This puja will take about 1.5 hours.

If you wish to make a financial donation toward this puja, or put someone on our Gendun Drubpa Prayer List, please go to https://gendundrubpa.org/pujas-prayers/

You are invited to bring an item for the altar (food or flowers) or something for our food bank collection.
